The fact is that nobody will be interested in mentoring you if you are just a random man asking questions in people's DMs unless you offer to pay. because you are worthless. You must develop into the kind of person that others want to stay around if you want to attract mentors.


The greatest method to do this when you're just getting started is to be exceptionally skilled in a useful skill. This cannot be negotiated. If you can add significant value to someone's company, they will view you as a valuable asset and will wish to maintain your presence. The value you'll provide upfront to entice the mentor is your service. The second is that you must be a doer.
