On Monday, September 5, 2022, just before midnight, the incident apparently took place.

A man is killed by a beating after raping a goat.
The man tried to get into the home of a 61-year-old woman with the intention of raping her, but she fought him off and threatened to cut off his head, according to 1KZNTV News. The woman was reportedly awakened by the sound of a wailing goat after the attempted home invasion. Further inquiry revealed that the man had reportedly raped a goat while undetected.
The neighborhood then assembled at the home of the elderly woman and took the law into their own hands by killing the man by beating him.
According to Thenjiswa Ngcobo, a spokesman for the KZN police, the old woman claimed that while she was sleeping in her home, she heard someone break a window.

If the attacker attempted to enter via the window that he had already smashed, she threatened him with her bush knife.
"The 21-year-old turned around and sexually assaulted a goat that belonged to the wife when he was unable to enter the house. She woke up her son, who was sound asleep in another house, when she heard her goat sobbing, and the man was later apprehended.

The strange death of goats in a community in the Eastern Cape was finally solved in July of this year when a guy by the name of Mamboyi confessed to having'non-consensual' relations with the animals.
Mamboyi, who is claimed to be a shepherd, was found following the most recent death of a goat in the neighborhood at the time, which happened after he was last seen with the animal.

A video of the suspect raping a goat went viral online, and many people in the community, including angry women, went after him.
When the women got serious, Mamboyi finally admitted that he had a few affairs with the animal, which tragically died after the meeting.
